The 48MP 1/1.3-inch sensor and 24mm-equivalent f/1.7 lens support detailed photographs, DNG RAW editing and 4K/60fps HDR video. For slow motion, recording reaches 4K/100fps or Full HD/200fps. These slow-motion modes are different from normal real-time recording. The three-axis mechanical gimbal keeps the image steady and physically rotates the camera for True Vertical Shooting, useful when your final work is intended for a phone screen.
10-bit D-Log M offers room for colour grading, while HLG serves an HDR workflow. Normal colour is simpler for quick delivery. The hub charges batteries sequentially, not simultaneously.
There is 2GB of internal storage, which is only a small emergency buffer for high-resolution footage. Add a recommended microSD card for normal filming. DJI RC 2 has its own display, so a phone is not needed as the flight screen, although setup, updates and online services require appropriate connectivity.
