Sony X75K 4K LED Smart TV Overview
The Sony X75K price in Kenya: Ask for the current price. Choose 43, 50, 55 or 65 inches for current price and availability. The X75K is a straightforward Sony Google TV for streaming, broadcast television and everyday console play. For full-array local dimming and 4K/120Hz gaming, compare the Sony BRAVIA XR X90L.
4K Processor X1 and everyday sources
Sony’s 4K Processor X1 and 4K X-Reality Pro process colour, contrast and incoming detail. They help adapt lower-resolution programmes to a 3840 × 2160 screen, but a high-quality source still matters. A decoder set correctly for HD or UHD output and a stable streaming connection are practical first steps toward a better picture.
The direct LED backlight uses frame dimming rather than independently controlled local-dimming zones. HDR10 and HLG are supported; Sony does not list Dolby Vision for this model. That makes the X75K a general-purpose 4K choice rather than a substitute for a premium HDR cinema display. Set expectations around the programmes and room you actually use.
Which screen size fits?
The 43-inch configuration works well where furniture and viewing distance are limited. Moving to 50 inches increases picture area while remaining manageable in a smaller lounge. The 55-inch option is a balanced shared-room size; 65 inches gives films, sport and subtitles more presence in a larger space. All four are 4K, so size increases the image area without adding resolution.
For the 55-inch reference, Sony lists a 1243 mm width, 963 mm stand width and 291 mm stand depth. It weighs 14.5 kg with the stand and uses 400 × 200 mm VESA mounting. Use the correct measurements for the selected size rather than assuming the same feet or bracket fit every X75K.
Gaming: 4K/60Hz, not 120Hz
The regional specification lists a native 50Hz panel and explicitly accepts 4K signals at 50 and 60Hz. Motionflow XR 200 is a processing label, not a 200Hz panel or 4K/120Hz input. Sony does not list VRR or ALLM for the X75K. Select the Game picture mode when appropriate, but do not buy it expecting the advanced gaming features of the X90L.
Three HDMI inputs provide room for a decoder, console and another source, although an audio connection can use one of those sockets. Check the output settings of your source and use a suitable HDMI cable. A more powerful console can still work with the TV without using every capability the console offers.
Google TV, casting and sound
Google TV provides supported apps, recommendations and voice search through the supplied remote. Chromecast built in and Apple AirPlay/HomeKit add sharing options. App availability depends on region, account and software; internet service and subscriptions are separate. Wi-Fi and Ethernet give a choice of network connections, with a wired connection useful where wireless coverage is weak.
The built-in two-speaker system provides 20W total output and Dolby Audio support. It suits everyday programmes, while an external soundbar can add bass and a broader presentation. Sony lists eARC/ARC, optical audio and two USB ports on the reference model. Dolby Audio should not be confused with a claim of built-in Dolby Atmos surround speakers.
What is supplied?
The package includes the television, tabletop stand, voice remote, remote batteries, AC power cord and setup documentation. A wall bracket and signal cables are separate unless explicitly included in the order. Read Sony’s official X75K specifications for the regional reference and use the exact size’s installation instructions. The official Sony Electronics video gives a visual introduction to the model.

Does Motionflow XR 200 mean a 200Hz screen?
No. It is a motion-processing label. Sony lists a native 50Hz panel and support for 4K input at up to 60Hz, not 4K/120Hz.
Does the X75K support VRR or ALLM?
Sony does not list VRR or ALLM for this model. It has a Game picture mode, but advanced gaming requirements are better served by an appropriate X90L-class model.
Does it support Dolby Vision?
No. Sony lists HDR10 and HLG for the X75K. Dolby Audio support concerns sound and does not imply Dolby Vision picture support.
Which size should I choose?
43 or 50 inches suits smaller spaces, 55 inches is a balanced lounge option, and 65 inches offers a larger picture. Select the configuration for current price and availability and check its stand dimensions.
Can I use a soundbar?
Yes. Sony lists eARC/ARC and optical audio on the regional reference. Choose a compatible soundbar and cable, and reserve the required HDMI connection.
