Insta360 X6 Overview
Insta360 X6 price in Kenya is KShs 87,500. Choose your exact package from the options on this page. The camera specifications below apply to the model; included batteries, mounts and accessories depend on the selected package.
Choose the Insta360 X6 when you want to record the scene around you and choose the viewing direction afterwards. A ride, walking tour or group outing can become several different edits from the same take. Its smaller body and OLED touchscreen also make it a different proposition from simply buying an older 8K camera.

The Essentials Bundle adds a second Xtreme Battery, a Utility Fast Charge Case, 114cm Invisible Selfie Stick and Lens Cap. It suits a longer day of handheld 360 shooting with battery changes between sessions. It does not change the camera’s image quality or remove the need to protect the lenses.

What 8K50 means for a 360 video
8K50 captures the full sphere, not an 8K rectangular crop. Use it when you want detail and more frames for movement; choose 6K60 when a higher frame rate matters more than maximum spherical resolution. When you reframe a shot, the final viewing angle uses only part of the captured image. Check the export resolution rather than assuming every crop will retain 8K detail.
Colour control without making every edit complicated
Dolby Vision offers an HDR workflow, while I-Log and 10-bit colour are options for creators who plan to grade their footage. Pick a workflow your phone, editor and display support. For a quick travel clip, getting exposure and composition right is more useful than selecting a grading profile you will not process.
Protect the lenses and budget for editing
Replaceable lenses make repair more practical, but the exposed glass still needs care. Put the cap on before packing the camera and keep grit away from the lenses. Allow time to choose angles, trim clips and export from the Insta360 app or Studio. Check your editing device before a large trip rather than discovering incompatibility after filming.
Storage, water use and audio: check before you buy
- Storage: There is 64GB nominal built-in storage, with approximately 47GB available. A compatible microSD card expands capacity; it is a separate purchase unless expressly included in the selected offer.
- Water use: The camera is rated to 20m with its compartments correctly closed. For underwater 360 work, follow Insta360’s dive-case and stitching guidance; waterproofing alone does not guarantee seamless underwater footage.
- Audio: Compatible wireless audio is supported, including Insta360 Mic Air. Buy only a microphone confirmed for Insta360 X6 and the intended firmware; a transmitter is not included in these kits.
Is this the right camera for your setup?
If 8K30 and a larger LCD suit your workflow, compare Insta360 X5. Choose Insta360 X6 for its specific recording, screen and built-in-storage benefits rather than the generation number alone.
Compare other action cameras at NextBuy by recording workflow and complete kit cost. Consult the official manufacturer specifications and operating guidance for mode restrictions and compatible accessories.
