Hisense U7H 4K QLED TV 85-inch

Hisense U7H 4K QLED TV Overview

The Hisense U7H price in Kenya: Ask for the current price. This VIDAA ULED range combines quantum-dot colour, full-array local dimming and high-refresh gaming. NextBuy lists 55-, 65-, 75-, 85- and 98-inch configurations. Compare the newer Hisense U7N only after checking the catalogue model and exact size; a similar family name does not mean identical hardware.

Choose the screen size around the room

The 55-inch option is the easiest fit in this listing for a conventional lounge. The 65-inch gives more picture area for shared films and sport without moving into the largest installation category. A 75-inch screen needs more furniture width and wall space; check its full dimensions rather than relying on the diagonal alone.

The 85- and 98-inch configurations are substantial installations. Plan the carton route through doors, lifts and stairs, the wall or furniture load, stand footprint and cable access. The 98-inch model is a separate large-screen implementation; do not copy the mounting dimensions, dimming-zone count or speaker rating of a 55-inch review onto it. Use the selector for the chosen configuration’s current price and availability. For another very large screen, compare the Samsung DU9000 98-inch, including its picture technology and installation footprint.

Quantum-dot colour and local dimming

Quantum dots expand the colour capability of an LCD display, while full-array local dimming adjusts different backlight zones. These are separate functions: QLED is not OLED, and local dimming does not give each pixel its own light source. Hisense’s South African reference lists Full Array Local Dimming Pro across the U7H family, with Hi-View processing supporting picture presentation.

Dolby Vision and compatible HDR content are part of the range’s appeal for films. Source quality still matters, especially on the larger screens. Panel type, zone count, peak brightness and audio output can differ across size and region. The India 55U7H reference, for example, lists IPS and 20W sound, so a blanket VA/40W claim should not be used to describe every U7H supplied worldwide.

Gaming at up to 4K 120Hz

Hisense documents 120Hz gaming for the U7H, including the South African 98-inch model, with FreeSync Premium and automatic low-latency operation for compatible sources. Choose the correct high-bandwidth HDMI input, suitable cable and game settings. A console game’s own frame-rate limit still applies; a high-refresh panel does not automatically turn a 30fps game into 120fps.

Confirm the selected unit’s HDMI port map before connecting a console and an eARC sound system. Not every port necessarily has the same high-refresh capability. Buyers who mainly watch everyday broadcasts or streaming should weigh screen size and room fit alongside gaming features rather than paying for functions they will not use.

VIDAA streaming and regional differences

This listing is for VIDAA. It is not a promise of the Google TV interface shown in some overseas U7H reviews. Check your essential apps in the Kenyan VIDAA catalogue; internet access, service accounts and subscriptions are separate. Voice control and shortcut buttons depend on the supplied remote and regional services.

Dolby Atmos support describes compatible audio processing and playback, not a box of external surround speakers. Check the exact size’s speaker specification and the soundbar’s matching audio-return connection if you want a larger sound system.

Package and setup checks

The core package comprises the selected U7H television, tabletop stand, remote and user documentation, with the supplied power connection and remote batteries checked against the regional carton list. Do not assume an overseas Fire TV Stick or wall-bracket promotion is included in Kenya. Confirm mounting hardware, HDMI cables and installation separately, together with the selected offer’s delivery and warranty terms.
