Which Osmo Mobile 8 package should you buy?
Standard Combo includes the gimbal, magnetic clamp, storage pouch and charging cables. It is suitable when you want stabilisation and can use Mimo or compatible DockKit tracking without the separate module. Advanced Tracking Combo adds the DJI OM Multifunctional Module for module tracking, a nearby fill light and compatible wireless audio reception.
The two Creator Combos include the Advanced Tracking equipment plus a DJI Mic Mini transmitter, its charging dock, windscreens, clip magnet, microphone pouch and charging cable. Arctic White and Infinity Black describe the microphone transmitter finish. They do not change the gimbal’s stabilisation, and each Creator Combo includes one transmitter rather than a two-person microphone set.
For spoken content, positioning the transmitter near the speaker can be more valuable than another visual effect. The module receives compatible microphone audio and connects to the phone using the audio cable. A Lightning iPhone needs the appropriate USB-C-to-Lightning phone charging/audio cable separately. Standard and Advanced Tracking do not include the Creator transmitter.

DJI specifies phones weighing 170–300g, 67–84mm wide and 6.9–10mm thick. Include the case and attached accessories when checking those limits. Heavy lens attachments and thick protective cases can affect clearance or balance even if the phone alone is suitable.

A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours with the specified 10W USB-C charger. Carry suitable charging equipment for a long day, and remember that your phone can run out of storage or become hot before the gimbal battery is empty. Protect the equipment from rain and use the fill light as close-range assistance rather than a replacement for lighting a whole room.
