DJI Osmo Pocket 4P combines a wide 1-inch camera with a separate 1/1.28-inch medium-telephoto camera. Their equivalent focal lengths are 20mm and 60mm: useful for moving from an environmental introduction to a tighter portrait without physically stepping into the scene. The 3x optical relationship comes from those two cameras. Up to 12x video zoom includes digital processing and should not be described as 12x optical zoom.
Normal landscape recording reaches 4K/60fps. In slow motion, the wide camera reaches 4K/240fps and the medium-tele camera reaches 4K/200fps; native portrait video reaches 3K/60fps. The main camera’s 17-stop dynamic-range claim applies under DJI’s stated D-Log 2 test conditions at 1x. It is not a promise that both lenses deliver that range at every zoom and frame rate.
