PlayStation 5 Pro Limited Editions 30th Anniversary

PlayStation 5 Pro Limited Editions Overview

The PlayStation 5 Pro Limited Editions price in Kenya is KShs 271,500. The listed 30th Anniversary bundle pairs PS5 Pro graphics capabilities and a 2TB SSD with a coordinated grey console and premium matching accessories. It suits a buyer who wants both a working Pro gaming setup and the commemorative presentation of the original PlayStation. Compared with the standard PlayStation 5 Pro, the attraction is the design and included accessory collection rather than faster game performance.

The numbered 30th Anniversary Pro edition

Sony produced 12,300 individually numbered anniversary Pro consoles worldwide. The grey design recalls the original PlayStation, while the package brings that styling across the controllers and accessories. This is the Pro anniversary bundle, distinct from the PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary option.

The limited production run describes Sony’s edition; it does not guarantee future resale value or a particular console number. Choose it because you want to use and keep this package. A specific number or poster design is not promised by this listing.

Two controllers and a coordinated charging setup

The bundle includes a matching DualSense and a matching DualSense Edge, plus a limited-edition DualSense charging station. This gives you two controller choices rather than the single standard DualSense supplied with an ordinary PS5 Pro. The Edge adds customisable controls for players who want its extra input options.

Two controllers are useful for supported local multiplayer, but the game still needs to allow multiple players on the same console. The charging station keeps compatible controllers organised between sessions; it does not mean every other anniversary accessory shown in the collection video is included.

Disc-drive cover versus an actual drive

This is a Digital Edition console with no disc drive supplied. Its anniversary cover allows a compatible separately purchased drive to match the design, but the cover cannot read discs. Start with digital purchases unless you also obtain the appropriate drive.

Adding the compatible drive requires internet access for pairing during setup. This distinction is important when buying the bundle for physical PS5 or PS4 games or movie discs: budget for the drive itself, not just the commemorative cover already in the box.

PS5 Pro graphics and the display you use

The underlying Pro hardware supports PSSR image reconstruction and enhanced graphics options in compatible games. Developers may use that capability for clearer images, improved ray-traced effects or a better balance between quality and frame rate. The anniversary finish does not change those capabilities.

Look at the enhancements in your actual game library. A capable 4K display makes more sense for appreciating the Pro than buying around a universal 4K/120fps promise, because resolution and frame rate depend on the title, settings and screen. Keep the console and games updated to access supported improvements.

2TB SSD and expanding your library

The internal 2TB SSD offers substantial space for games and updates, although system functions reserve part of the capacity. It is useful when you keep several large games ready or share the console with another player. There is no fixed number of games that fits because installation sizes differ.

A compatible M.2 SSD can expand playable PS5 storage. USB extended storage can hold PS5 games for later transfer and play supported PS4 games, but cannot run PS5 games directly. More storage can reduce repeated downloads without changing whether a game supports Pro enhancements.

Existing games and account setup

The console uses the PS5 library and supports compatible PS4 titles. Digital purchases need the owning account; physical games require the optional drive. Check save transfers and any PS4-to-PS5 upgrade entitlements for individual games rather than assuming every version is automatically included.

Most paid-game online multiplayer requires PlayStation Plus, while some free-to-play games are exceptions. Eligible offline games do not need an ongoing multiplayer subscription. Allow time and internet data for updates and installations before a first session, especially when purchasing a digital-only package.

Stand and commemorative contents

The matching vertical stand is included in this anniversary bundle, unlike the standard Pro package where it is separate. The box also adds an original-controller-style cable connector housing, four PlayStation-shapes cable ties, a sticker, one anniversary poster and a PlayStation paperclip.

Use the supplied supports according to the setup instructions and leave ventilation space around the console. The official PlayStation anniversary collection identifies the Pro bundle contents, while Sony’s PS5 Pro overview explains the shared gaming capabilities. The collection video includes separate products such as Portal that are not supplied here.
