The PlayStation 4 Slim Limited Editions price in Kenya is KShs 38,000. These special PS4 Slim packages offer more than a choice of finish: Gold, Silver and Days of Play Blue use 500GB storage with two matching controllers, while the 1TB Steel Black, Gran Turismo Sport and Final Fantasy XV Luna packages serve different library and collector priorities. They suit players who want a compact PS4 for its established game catalogue and a distinctive design. Compare the standard PlayStation 4 Slim if themed hardware is less important than the console itself.
The Gold and Silver packages combine a 500GB PS4 Slim with two matching DualShock 4 controllers. That makes the supplied controller count useful for a household planning to play compatible local multiplayer games. A second controller does not make every game support two players, so check your preferred sports, fighting or party title before buying.
These are alternative metallic finishes on the same underlying PS4 Slim platform. Neither offers a graphics advantage over the other. No game is specified for these hardware packages, and the 500GB capacity should be considered alongside the sizes of the games you intend to install.
Days of Play Blue is the 2018 design with gold PlayStation symbols and two coordinated controllers. The package represented here is the 500GB version. It appeals to someone who wants a coordinated two-player setup without choosing a single game franchise for the console artwork.
The later Days of Play Steel Black edition uses silver PlayStation symbols, a 1TB hard drive and one matching controller. Its extra capacity is more useful for keeping a broader selection installed, while the Blue package prioritises the second controller. These differences matter more to everyday ownership than simply describing both as Days of Play colours.
The Gran Turismo Sport edition has a silver GT faceplate, a matching controller with GT branding and 1TB storage. Its factory bundle includes Gran Turismo Sport on PS4 disc. It remains a distinctive choice for a racing fan, but the included game must be described in its present form rather than using its original online-service advertising.
Gran Turismo Sport’s online services ended on 31 January 2024. Sport mode, online lobbies and other server-dependent features are no longer available; offline portions remain playable. See the official Gran Turismo service notice. Do not buy this bundle expecting the game’s former online competition system or assume it includes Gran Turismo 7.
The Luna edition pairs moon-inspired console artwork with a coordinated DualShock 4 and a 1TB hard drive. Its Deluxe factory package includes Final Fantasy XV and Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV on Blu-ray, presented with the Steelbook. This makes it a more substantial franchise package than a console sold simply in a special colour.
The Deluxe label does not automatically mean every later expansion or the Royal Edition is included. Historical bonus codes can have expiry dates and account-region restrictions, so the hardware, game disc, film and physical presentation are the dependable basis for comparing the package. Sony’s official Luna bundle announcement sets out the original package.
PS4 Slim is designed around the PS4 library and supports HDR in compatible games with an appropriate display. It is not a PS4 Pro, does not provide the Pro’s enhanced rendering options and cannot run PS5 games. Special covers and metallic finishes do not change those limits.
A conventional HDMI television is sufficient for use. If higher-resolution PS4 gaming is your priority, compare the PlayStation 4 Pro. If the games you want are PS5 releases, look at the PlayStation 5 Slim rather than choosing an older console for its appearance alone.
The console uses a hard drive, with less usable space than the advertised capacity after system software and reserved storage. Physical games still install, and downloads or updates can add to their footprint. A 1TB package gives more room than 500GB before you need to remove games or add storage.
Compatible USB extended storage can be used for a larger PS4 library. Keep save data and account access in mind when changing storage, and follow Sony’s supported setup procedure. The disc drive also supports compatible Blu-ray and DVD movies, but not Ultra HD Blu-ray films.
DualShock 4 controllers have internal rechargeable batteries and use Micro-USB for charging; they do not require disposable AA batteries. A charging dock, extra headset and vertical stand are separate unless expressly included. Place the console securely with clear ventilation and allow time for system and game updates.
An ongoing PlayStation Plus subscription is not included in these stated packages. Most paid online multiplayer games need an appropriate subscription, and the availability of a game’s servers is a separate issue. Choose the edition by the game you want to own, the storage you need and whether a second controller will actually be useful.

The Gold, Silver and Days of Play Blue 500GB packages listed here include two matching DualShock 4 controllers. Steel Black, Gran Turismo Sport and Final Fantasy XV Luna include one.
Days of Play Steel Black, Gran Turismo Sport and Final Fantasy XV Luna use 1TB hard drives. Gold, Silver and Days of Play Blue use 500GB in these packages.
No. Their finish and package contents distinguish them; they remain PS4 Slim consoles with the same underlying platform capabilities.
The Blue design has gold symbols, 500GB storage and two controllers. Steel Black has silver symbols, 1TB storage and one controller. They should not be treated as identical packages in different colours.
No. Its online services ended on 31 January 2024. Offline portions remain playable, but Sport mode, online lobbies and other server-dependent features are no longer available.
No. The factory game is Gran Turismo Sport. Gran Turismo 7 is a separate purchase, and the console’s GT branding does not change that.
The Deluxe factory package includes the themed 1TB PS4 Slim, one matching DualShock 4, Final Fantasy XV game disc, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV movie Blu-ray and Steelbook, alongside the standard console connections.
No complete later-expansion entitlement is promised. The original Deluxe package should not be confused with Royal Edition or an all-DLC bundle. Historical code validity and regional terms must be checked separately.
No game is specified for those hardware packages. Gran Turismo Sport and Final Fantasy XV Luna are the named game bundles in this selection.
No. PS4 Slim runs compatible PS4 software. Choose a PS5-family console if the titles you want require PS5.
No. The disc drive supports compatible standard Blu-ray and DVD movies, not Ultra HD Blu-ray discs. A special edition does not add a different movie-drive capability.
DualShock 4 has an internal rechargeable battery and charges over Micro-USB. A charging dock is not specified in these packages.
Yes. They install to the drive and may require updates or additional downloads. System reservations also mean less usable space than the advertised 500GB or 1TB.
No ongoing subscription is specified. Most paid online multiplayer games require an appropriate PlayStation Plus plan, and individual game server availability is separate from subscription ownership.
Brand warranty terms depend on the exact unit, supplier and service region. Keep the purchase invoice and confirm coverage and exclusions at checkout.
