GoPro HERO13 Black Mountain Bike Bundle

GoPro HERO13 Black Overview

GoPro HERO13 Black price in Kenya is KShs 76,500. Choose your exact package from the options on this page. The camera specifications below apply to the model; included batteries, mounts and accessories depend on the selected package.

Choose the GoPro HERO13 Black for footage you want to capture while moving: a handlebar view of a cycling route, a chest-mounted hike, a swim or a travel sequence filmed with a short grip. Its combination of 5.3K recording, HyperSmooth 6.0 and a body rated waterproof to 10m makes it a practical choice when holding a phone is inconvenient. The front display helps you frame yourself; the rear touchscreen gives you access to settings and playback.

The prices below follow the currently selected product records. Check the stock status of the exact package and colour before ordering; an alternative having a price does not mean it is in stock.

5.3K60 or 4K120: which should you use?

• 5.3K at 60fps: choose detail and editing flexibility. It is useful for travel scenes and footage you may crop before exporting. Capturing a wider view gives you more freedom to adjust the composition afterwards.
• 4K at 120fps: choose this for action you want to slow down, such as a jump, splash or passing rider. Playing 120fps footage at 30fps produces four-times slow motion while retaining 4K resolution.
• 2.7K at 240fps: trade some resolution for slower playback. At 30fps, this gives eight-times slow motion for studying a brief movement or adding a short effect to an edit.

For a trip that will become both a YouTube video and vertical social clips, supported 8:7 capture modes provide room to reframe one recording into different shapes. Keep your subject away from the edges if you plan to crop vertically. These are shooting suggestions; the available field of view and stabilisation options depend on the recording mode.

Stabilisation for cycling, walking and mounted footage

HyperSmooth 6.0 helps reduce shake from movement. Horizon Lock keeps the horizon level in supported modes, which is useful when a mount tilts or your grip rotates. Neither replaces a secure mount: choose mounting hardware for the activity and check it before recording. GPS recording also lets you add telemetry such as speed or altitude to suitable edits in Quik.

Battery life: plan around your recording settings

The removable 1900mAh Enduro battery lets you swap power between sessions. GoPro quotes over 2.5 hours at 1080p30 or over 1.5 hours at 4K30 and 5.3K30 under its test conditions. Those figures do not describe 5.3K60 recording. Higher frame rates, temperature, screens and wireless features affect runtime; carry a compatible spare for an outing where charging will be difficult. See GoPro HERO13 Black specifications and battery-test conditions.

What else do you need with the Standard Kit?

• A memory card: the camera has no built-in storage. Check GoPro’s current recommended microSD cards before choosing a model and capacity.
• A mount for your activity: the included curved adhesive mount is different from a chest harness, handlebar mount or floating hand grip. The quick-release Magnetic Latch Mount is also sold separately.
• Optional creative accessories: HB-Series lenses and filters add specialised views and effects. They are not part of the Standard Kit; selected specialist bundles include the accessories listed in the package table. Wired 3.5mm microphone use needs a compatible GoPro adapter or Media Mod; compatible Bluetooth audio is another option.

For water use, keep within the 10m rating, fully close the camera door and follow the official GoPro HERO13 Black setup and care instructions. A deeper dive requires a suitable protective housing.

Should you upgrade from GoPro HERO12 Black?

The reasons to consider GoPro HERO13 Black include GPS, HB-Series lens auto-detection, Burst Slo-Mo and the new battery system. If your GoPro HERO12 Black already handles your normal recordings and you do not need those additions, upgrading may offer less value than improving your mounts or audio setup. Older GoPro HERO Black batteries do not fit GoPro HERO13 Black, so include replacement batteries in your upgrade budget.
