Slow motion is a separate creative choice

Record normal landscape footage at up to 4K/60fps, or switch to the dedicated slow-motion mode for up to 4K/240fps. Native upright recording reaches 3K/60fps. High frame rates need suitable light and should not be confused with the normal-video specification. Still photographs reach approximately 37MP. For an editing workflow, 10-bit D-Log is available in normal Video mode; a log profile needs appropriate colour correction rather than being treated as a finished look.

Control framing without interrupting every take

ActiveTrack follows a selected subject, and gesture and subject-management tools can help a presenter working alone. The separate zoom and custom controls reduce reliance on tapping menus. Its zoom is digital, with up to 4x available in supported video modes; this single-camera model does not gain Pocket 4P’s second optical focal length. Tracking and zoom availability vary by recording mode, so set up the shot before starting an important take.

Internal storage changes the day-to-day workflow

The camera provides 107GB of built-in storage and also supports microSD cards up to 1TB. Internal storage is helpful when a card is forgotten, but important footage should still be backed up before the next job. USB-C file transfer and Wi-Fi provide different offload routes. The three microphones capture convenient camera-side sound, while compatible OsmoAudio wireless transmitters can place dialogue capture closer to the speaker.

The Creator Combo includes a Mic 3 transmitter, fill light, wide-angle attachment, mini tripod and carrying bag. Battery expectations and protection

The quoted 240-minute runtime is a 1080p/24fps laboratory result at 25°C with the screen and Wi-Fi off, not a promise of four hours at 4K/240fps. DJI’s 18-minute charge-to-80% figure uses its separately sold 65W charger. Activate and manage firmware with DJI Mimo. Pocket 4 is not waterproof: protect it from rain, spray and knocks to the gimbal head. Use the package pouch or compatible protection when carrying it in a bag.
