DJI Lito X1 Drone Overview

The DJI Lito X1 price in Kenya is KShs 96,500. Lito X1 combines a 48MP 1/1.3-inch camera, ActiveTrack, omnidirectional vision and forward LiDAR in a folding travel drone. Compared with the DJI Lito 1, the larger camera sensor, D-Log M workflow and 42GB internal storage are useful reasons to step up.

Camera quality and editing choices

The 24mm-equivalent f/1.7 lens is a wide-angle view for landscapes, buildings and travel sequences. JPEG and DNG RAW photographs let you choose quick sharing or more deliberate editing. Video reaches 4K/60fps HDR, with 4K/100fps slow motion and Full HD/200fps for slowing action further. H.265 is required for 4K and slow-motion recording, so make sure your editing device can handle the files.

10-bit D-Log M supports grading, while Normal colour is the simpler choice for fast delivery. Digital zoom crops the wide image; this is not a drone with a separate telephoto camera. The three-axis mechanical gimbal steadies footage, but the 2.7K/60fps vertical mode is a crop rather than a physically rotating portrait camera. Four packages with meaningful differences

• Standard Kit (RC-N3): one standard Intelligent Flight Battery, phone-based RC-N3 controller, USB-C and Lightning controller cables, one spare propeller pair, screwdriver and gimbal protector. This is the smallest initial kit.
• Fly More Combo (RC-N3): three standard batteries in total, the same phone-based controller and cables, three spare propeller pairs, screwdriver, gimbal protector, Lito X1 Charging Hub and shoulder bag.
• Fly More Combo (RC 2): three standard batteries, hub, bag, three spare propeller pairs, screwdriver and protector, with the screen-equipped DJI RC 2 replacing the phone-based controller.
• Fly More Combo Plus (RC 2): the screen-equipped controller and Fly More accessories with three Intelligent Flight Battery Plus units. These extend maximum test endurance but make the aircraft heavier.

RC-N3 needs a compatible phone running DJI Fly; RC 2 supplies its own display. The Plus option changes battery type and weight, not the camera. Select the exact package for its current price and availability. ND filters, a mains power adapter and a memory card are not in these official kit lists. The listed phone cables are controller connection cables, so also plan a suitable USB-C charging cable and supply.

36-minute and 52-minute batteries: read the conditions

DJI quotes up to 36 minutes with the standard battery and 52 minutes with Plus in controlled maximum-endurance tests without active video recording. It also lists typical test-flight figures of 23 and 37 minutes in a defined recording-and-return scenario. These are reference tests, not promised durations for every outing. Wind, movement, temperature and the landing reserve all matter.

The standard take-off weight is approximately 249g, with manufacturing variation; Plus takes it above that weight. Avoid assuming every package has the same weight or that a long radio-range specification describes a sensible out-and-back flight. Check the requirements for the location where you intend to use the aircraft.

Charging that differs from older Mini hubs

The Lito X1 hub can charge three same-model batteries in parallel when used with a USB-C PD supply rated at least 45W. It first brings the lower batteries to a similar charge level, then finishes them together. DJI’s tests with its 65W charger give approximately 87 minutes for three standard batteries or 130 minutes for three Plus batteries. Actual conditions affect charging time. A hub alone is not a mains charger.

The 42GB internal storage is useful for short sessions or as a backup if a card is forgotten. For longer recording days, add a recommended microSD card and a routine for copying files before the next flight.

Tracking assistance still needs a clear route

ActiveTrack helps maintain framing on a supported moving subject. Omnidirectional monocular vision, forward-facing LiDAR and a downward infrared sensor assist sensing, but do not guarantee that wires, fine branches or difficult surfaces will be detected. Vision needs suitable light and visible patterns. Start in an open area and monitor the flight rather than treating the sensors as a promise of collision-free operation.

Choose Lito X1 for a small camera drone with tracking, flexible colour recording and useful built-in storage. Choose the controller and battery kit around your routine rather than simply the longest headline flight time.
