Key Features & Specifications
-
Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 Processor
The laptop uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 processor with 12 cores, 12 threads, and speeds of up to 4.0GHz. It also includes 42MB of processor cache.
As a result, the laptop is well suited to office applications, web browsing, research, video conferencing, content creation, and everyday multitasking.
Furthermore, the ARM-based processor focuses strongly on efficiency. Therefore, users can enjoy powerful performance without depending on a high-wattage processor.
-
45 TOPS AI Performance
A major advantage of the Snapdragon platform is its integrated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, which delivers up to 45 TOPS of AI processing performance.
Therefore, supported AI workloads can run locally on the laptop instead of relying completely on cloud processing.
The XPS 13 9345 is also part of Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC category. Consequently, it can support compatible Windows AI features designed for productivity, communication, and creative work.
-
Qualcomm Adreno Graphics
Graphics are handled by the integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU, which provides up to 3.8 TFLOPS with the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100.
The graphics system is suitable for:
- High-resolution video playback
- Presentations
- Productivity applications
- Light photo editing
- Content creation
- Casual gaming
- Everyday multimedia
However, it is not designed to replace a dedicated NVIDIA or AMD gaming GPU.
-
13.4-inch InfinityEdge Display
Dell offers several 13.4-inch InfinityEdge display options for this model.
Available configurations include a 2K non-touch display at 1920 × 1200, a 2.5K touchscreen at 2560 × 1600, and a premium 3K OLED touchscreen. The 2K and 2.5K panels can also support adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz.
Therefore, buyers can choose between better battery efficiency, touchscreen functionality, or premium OLED image quality.
In addition, the compact InfinityEdge design keeps the bezels narrow, helping the laptop maintain a small overall footprint.
-
LPDDR5X Memory & PCIe SSD Storage
The Snapdragon X Elite configuration supports fast LPDDR5X memory running at 8448MT/s.
Dell currently offers configurations with 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of integrated memory. Storage options include 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB PCIe NVMe SSDs.

Wireless connectivity is handled by the Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 platform.
It supports Wi-Fi 7 across the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands, with theoretical transfer rates of up to 5760Mbps. Bluetooth 5.4 is also supported.
Therefore, users with compatible networking equipment can benefit from fast modern wireless connectivity for cloud work, video conferencing, streaming, and file transfers.
-
Dual USB4 Type-C Ports
The laptop includes two USB4 40Gbps USB-C ports with DisplayPort and Power Delivery support.
These connections can be used for:
- Charging
- External displays
- Docking stations
- External storage
- USB accessories
- DisplayPort output
However, the minimalist design means there is no built-in USB-A port, HDMI port, memory card reader, or traditional 3.5mm audio jack. Compatible adapters or a USB-C dock may therefore be useful.
-
55Wh Battery
The laptop features a 3-cell 55Wh lithium-ion battery.
Dell designed the Snapdragon-powered XPS around efficiency and long unplugged use. In Dell’s own testing, selected FHD+ Snapdragon X Elite configurations reached up to 27 hours under specific video-playback test conditions. Actual battery life will vary with brightness, applications, connectivity, and workload.
Therefore, the laptop is particularly attractive to users who spend long periods away from a power outlet.

In addition, Microsoft’s Copilot+ platform introduces AI-focused Windows experiences designed around devices with powerful NPUs. Feature availability can vary by Windows version, region, and software updates.
Premium XPS Design
Portability remains one of the strongest reasons to choose this laptop.
Depending on the screen configuration, the chassis weighs approximately 1.23kg to 1.24kg and measures less than 16mm thick.
Therefore, it fits easily into backpacks and laptop bags while still providing premium computing hardware.
The minimalist XPS design also uses a seamless glass palm rest, a large haptic touchpad area, and a modern edge-to-edge keyboard layout.
As a result, the system is particularly attractive to users who prioritise portability and modern design.
Windows on ARM Compatibility
The Snapdragon X Elite uses an ARM-based architecture rather than the traditional x86 architecture used by most Intel and AMD Windows laptops.
Windows 11 supports a growing range of ARM-native applications as well as emulation for compatible software. However, buyers who depend on specialised legacy programs, drivers, accessories, or professional applications should confirm compatibility before purchasing.
Dell itself provides an application compatibility check for its Snapdragon-powered configurations.
Therefore, the laptop works best for users whose important applications already support Windows on ARM or operate correctly through Windows compatibility technologies.
